EGR USA Introduces Award-Winning EGR RollTrac™ Electric Bed Cover for Late Model Ram 1500 Trucks
Ontario, CA (September 29, 2022) – EGR USA, a global manufacturer of precision engineered truck accessories for over 50 OE’s and the aftermarket, announces the introduction of their award-winning EGR RollTrac™ electric retractable bed cover for the 2019 – 2022 short bed Ram 1500 pickup. Availability of the EGR RollTrac includes all non-heavy-duty Ram 1500 trim models except Classic, including Tradesman®, SLT, SXT, Big Horn®/Lone Star, Laramie®, Laramie® Longhorn, Laramie® Limited, Sport, and Rebel.
Developed with an OE fit and sleek, luxurious black powder coat finish, the EGR RollTrac is equally rugged, waterproof, and impenetrable for best-in-class bed security. The all-aluminum, slat construction provides a stylish solution and quiet operation with anti-pinch technology. Featuring onboard controls, a smart ECU, and a multi-speed gearbox, the EGR RollTrac integrates seamlessly with the vehicle’s remote central locking system and can be locked or unlocked using the truck’s key fob.
Recently the winner of the CAN (Custom Automotive Network) Connect Truck Accessory of the Year award, the EGR RollTrac backed by ten international patents offers features, unlike the competition. Tested for all climates and weather including harsh deserts and wet tropical rainfalls, the RollTrac has an interlocking system that prevents water penetration on the surface. Large aperture drainage tubes in each corner of the RollTrac transport water discreetly from the vehicle. The curved, concave-shaped canister assists in dispersing water out of front drainage tubes under the vehicle. The addition of a Cross Bar Kit increases load capacity to 1,000 lbs. utilizing a universal T-Channel rail mounting system that works with most aftermarket brands.
